1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended solely for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

You are at least 18 years old;
You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to terminate your account immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe you do not meet the above eligibility requirements.

3. Description of the Service

The Service is a free social discovery platform that automatically creates events in over 40,000 cities worldwide when at least two registered users are detected in the same location. Users can:

Browse and join automatically generated events in their city;
View the profile information of other users who have joined the same event, including but not limited to: social media handles and profiles (Twitter/X and any other social networks voluntarily provided by users);
Add and manage their own social media profile links.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

4.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4.3 One Account Per User

You may not create more than one account. Creating multiple accounts may result in the termination of all associated accounts.

5. User Content and Profile Information

5.1 Information You Provide

You may voluntarily provide social media profile links (Twitter/X and other networks) as part of your user profile. By providing this information, you:

Confirm you have the right to share such information;
Acknowledge that this information will be visible to other users who join the same events as you;
Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display this information within the Service.

5.2 Visibility of Your Information

You expressly acknowledge and consent that when you join an event, your profile information — including your social media handles and any other social network links you have provided — will be made visible to all other participants of that event.

You are solely responsible for what information you choose to include in your profile. We strongly encourage you to only share information you are comfortable making publicly visible to other event participants.

5.3 Content Standards

You agree not to provide, upload, or link to any content that:

Is false, misleading, or fraudulent;
Infringes any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights;
Is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory;
Promotes illegal activities or violates any applicable law.

6. Automated Event Generation

Events are automatically generated by the Service based on user location data when a minimum threshold of users is detected in a given city. You understand and agree that:

Events are algorithmically created and not individually curated or moderated in real-time;
We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or appropriateness of any automatically generated event;
Participation in any event is entirely voluntary and at your own risk;
We are not responsible for any interactions, disputes, or harm arising from in-person meetings facilitated through the Service.

7. Location Data

By using the Service, you consent to the collection and processing of your location data for the purpose of generating relevant local events. You may withdraw this consent at any time by disabling location access in your device settings, which may limit your ability to use the Service.

Location data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws;
Harass, threaten, or harm other users;
Impersonate any person or entity;
Scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users without their explicit consent;
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service;
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service;
Attempt to circumvent any security or access-control measures;
Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or any other harmful content.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

9. Interactions Between Users

We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline. You agree to take reasonable precautions in all interactions with other users, particularly if you decide to meet in person. You acknowledge that:

We do not conduct background checks on users;
We do not verify the accuracy of user-provided information;
Any in-person meeting arranged through the Service is undertaken solely at your own risk.

You release us from any and all liability for any claims, damages, or disputes arising out of your interactions with other users.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices, including how we collect, use, and share your personal information and location data.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to or integrate with third-party platforms (including Twitter/X and other social networks). We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms of service.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure;
Any events generated by the Service will be accurate or appropriate;
The Service will meet your expectations or requirements.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of data, revenue, or profits;
Personal injury or property damage arising from your use of the Service or attendance at any event;
Unauthorized access to your account or personal data;
Any conduct or content of third parties or other users on the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

Your use of the Service;
Your violation of these Terms;
Your violation of any third-party rights, including privacy or intellectual property rights;
Any harm caused by your interactions with other users.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.

Note: If you serve users in the European Union, additional protections under GDPR and EU consumer law may apply. If you serve users in California, CCPA obligations may apply. We recommend consulting a qualified attorney to tailor this section to your specific jurisdiction and user base.

17. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where appropriate, by sending a notification through the Service or by email.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

18. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
